November Health Challenge!

November is upon us which means this year ends in 61 days! Can you believe it? I don’t know about you but I could so better with my monthly health challenges.  I’m prioritizing making the most of my time in order to continue my commitment to being healthy. I will step up my walking to 6.25 miles daily, continue drinking at least eight glasses of water instead of sodas or other sugary drinks including juices, eating foods whole (An example is eating a small baked potato instead of potato chips) and limiting my daily caloric intake to 1500 – 1700 calories( approximately 500 calories each for breakfast, lunch and dinner and two 100 calorie snacks.) I’ve gotten quite creative with my meals and learned a lot about portion control, it’s key in changing bad eating habits and making healthy choices. We barely have three months until the end of the year. Don’t deprive yourself, control yourself! Remember that one of the fruits of the spirit is self control. Will you join me in the last 61 days of this year? Together, we can achieve our goal of getting and staying healthy!
